What was the highlight of Hotel Royal
It worths the price, would recommend for tourists whose most of the time are outside and just need good place to sleep.
Very good location, 10-minute walk from Velocity/Novena Square malls & Novena MRT. Bus stop just right outside hotel door. Our family room clean & is spacious compared to other budget hotel at the same price. Edequate facilities provided, air con works so well that we dont have to turn it on when sleeping. Though no water bottle at each room, there is water dispenser at each floor for self-filling (for free), thumps up for a sustainable initiative Staff are friendly & flexible to adapt to our late check-out.
The hotel is old both outside and inside, though we knew that info in advance yet a bit surprised when check in the room. Towel is also in old color, lights in room are not so bright. Only until the last day that we got look-like-new towels.

Good
The property was clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable too. Was able to check into the room even though it wasn’t near the check in timing.
The service upon arrival wasn’t well received and the staff at the counter when checking out were not professional and have a poor service attitude.

Good
The facilities in the room was good. The staff gave us a free upgrade to family room with study room which was useful for our 2 prams. Rooms are spacious with table top.
There's no bidet or water hose for shower/pass urine or motion. The slippers are reusable?? For toilet...
